Hello and welcome to the Howard Elementary Media Center web page!  My name is Miriam Storie and I am the Media Center Specialist! We are open to students, teachers and parents during school hours.  Students visit the library with their class on a weekly basis to check out books!  Depending on the grade level, students may check out one or two books.  We do not charge a fine for overdue books, but students are responsible for payment of lost or damaged library books.

The Media Center has a great selection of books to support the Accelerated Reader program.  If you are wondering if a book is an AR book, please go to www.ARbookfind.com  or simply click on the link under HES Accelerated Reader and you can do a title, author, or even an interest search.
